Bespoke dressing rooms and wardrobes

Since 1993, Baden Baden has designed and made bespoke dressing rooms and wardrobes: a whole room, a bedroom wall, a corridor, a space under the eaves or an entrance cloakroom. Each one is designed for the room it will stand in, made in the workshop and fitted by our own team.

Designed around your belongings

A bespoke wardrobe starts from what you need to store: length of hanging space, number of drawers, shelves for knitwear, room for shoes and suitcases. We take measurements on site and draw every element to the centimetre, from the ceiling height to the skirting boards and radiators.

The standard depth is 60 cm. It can be increased to suit your needs.

Under the eaves or demountable

We design wardrobes for sloping ceilings, following the pitch of the roof. A wardrobe can also be designed to be fully demountable, so that it can be reassembled elsewhere if you move house.

Doors and finishes

Solid doors, louvred doors that let the air circulate, or an open dressing room with no doors: the front is chosen together with the rest of the room. Our furniture is made of solid wood, mainly maple, painted with our own paints in the colour of your choice, or combines two finishes.

Everything is designed to measure: drawers, hanging rails at several heights, shelves, integrated lighting, a mirror, a bench or a dressing table.

From first drawing to installation

1. First meeting, at our showroom on Rue Haute, by phone or by email.
2. Drawing and quote: a deposit of €500, deductible from the project and with no further commitment, covers a first floor plan, an elevation and a detailed quote.
3. On-site measurements and technical drawings, in coordination with your architect or contractor.
4. Production in the workshop: allow 6 to 8 weeks after the drawings are signed off.
5. Installation by our own team, over 1 to 2 weeks.

We work in Brussels, throughout Belgium and elsewhere in Europe.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a bespoke wardrobe cost?
Each wardrobe is designed for a specific room: its price depends on the front surface, the depth, the type of doors and the storage chosen. A first floor plan, an elevation and a detailed quote are drawn up at the very start of the project, so that you can decide with full knowledge.

How long does it take?
Allow 6 to 8 weeks of production after the drawings are signed off, then 1 to 2 weeks for installation. The first drawing and the quote are prepared beforehand, at the start of the project.

Can you build a wardrobe under the eaves?
Yes. We design wardrobes for sloping ceilings that follow the pitch of the roof and make use of all the available height.

Can a bespoke wardrobe be taken apart?
Yes, if this is planned from the outset: we design fully demountable wardrobes that can be reassembled elsewhere.

Can you work from my architect’s drawings?
Yes. We work from your ideas or from your interior architect’s drawings, and we provide them with the technical drawings they need.

Where can I see your dressing rooms?
In our 400 m² showroom, Rue Haute 80, 1000 Brussels, and in our projects below.
