Ten years ago, Ethic & Tropic was founded with these extraordinary hand-embroidered animal heads—ritualistic and shamanic objects that have, over the years, also become exceptional pieces of art brut. Through a long and intense collaboration with Embera indigenous women, Corinne Bally now creates collections of art objects. Since 2012, and the discovery of a little-known craft, she has provided a livelihood to the indigenous tribes living in the heart of the Darien jungle, one of the most remote and dangerous regions in the world.

Our tribal pieces find their place in various decorating projects. These ritualistic masks from the tropical rainforest can serve as a striking element in both modern and classic interiors.
